Experience prior to PFS

Kasey has 40 years of experience as an independent petroleum landman. Researched mineral title, prepared accurate ownership reports, and acquired oil and gas leases.  Prepared run-sheets for title opinions and obtained curative documents pursuant to title requirements.  Performed due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures.  Prepared assignments pursuant to farmout and participation agreements. Prepared regulatory documents pertaining to pooling, increased density, and location exceptions.  Handled maintenance of royalty interests including but not limited to transfers of interest, curative, and owner relations.

Bio

Kasey grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and following in the family footsteps worked as an independent Petroleum Landman for 30 years before returning to school to earn a degree. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in 2010, and the University of Tulsa College of Law with a J.D. in 2016.  She is a landman and licensed Oklahoma attorney who focuses primarily on mineral titles. She’s a member of the Association of Professional Landman, the Tulsa Association of Professional Landmen, the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Tulsa County Bar Association and is licensed to practice in the Oklahoma Supreme Court and all Oklahoma District Courts. She enjoys volunteering with Tulsa Lawyers For Children where she represents abused and neglected children. She’s been happily married to her husband of 30 years and they are parents to 4 very spoiled toy dogs.
